Panchakarma Guidance

Expert assessment and guidance for Ayurvedic detox therapies.

Panchakarma is Ayurveda's most powerful detoxification and rejuvenation therapy system โ€” a comprehensive five-fold cleansing process that eliminates deep-seated toxins, resets metabolism, and restores the body to optimal health. At Ayurom, Dr. Dharmendra Dube uses his expertise in Nadi Pariksha (pulse diagnosis) to assess whether you need Panchakarma, determine which procedures are right for your constitution, and guide you through the entire process with trusted specialist practitioners.

What is Panchakarma?

Panchakarma literally means "five actions" and refers to five principal therapeutic procedures:

  1. Vamana (Therapeutic Emesis): Controlled vomiting to eliminate excess Kapha from the stomach and respiratory system. Especially beneficial for asthma, allergies, and skin conditions.
  1. Virechana (Therapeutic Purgation): Medicated purgation to cleanse excess Pitta from the liver, gallbladder, and intestines. The primary treatment for skin diseases, acidity, and liver disorders.
  1. Basti (Medicated Enema): The most important Panchakarma procedure โ€” medicated oils and decoctions administered rectally to balance Vata dosha. Essential for all neurological, musculoskeletal, and reproductive conditions.
  1. Nasya (Nasal Administration): Medicated oils or powders administered through the nose to treat conditions above the clavicle โ€” sinusitis, migraines, neurological disorders, and hair problems.
  1. Raktamokshana (Bloodletting): Therapeutic removal of impure blood to treat skin diseases, gout, and varicose veins.
